Another Thanksgiving looms. Again this year we are headed to Lookout Mountain as we have done for these many years. Looks like the weather is going to be crap on both ends, but we may have a sunny day on Thursday.
I have a lot to be thankful for. My parents are still on the planet. My brother and his family are doing very well. Julie's dad and Jan are getting ready to go on another tour.
My job has recently provided me with a lot of challenges, and Julie's yarn shop is still keeping her smiling.
Mostly it has been a good year.
I would like to thank the Noblesville Porter's Matt, Becky Sarah and Luke for putting their time into the place for Dad and Mom. Their work will provide them with an extremely comfortable place to live, and allow them to enjoy their lives without worry about the house having problems around them. My hat is off to them as they continue to go the extra mile.
I am thankful every day, but want to record this here in honor of the scheduled holiday.

Becky' pics
Becky sent some pictures of the new carpet, but they also show off the great work getting done on making everything perfect.
The color translation in the carpet due to the pictures being transfered to computers is a bit off, the carpet is exactly what Mom picked out.
The paint is done in most of the rooms, and the kitchen is coming along nicely.
The roof looks good as well, although it was dark when I was there, so I did not get any pictures.
