Tickets for the 2011 Indianapolis Air Show are now available online at www.indyairshow.com. Tickets prices for both the Saturday, May 14, and Sunday, May 15, performances have been reduced by $5 compared to last year – to $15 for adult admission and $5 for children ages six to 12. It’s important to point out that buying tickets through the air show’s website is the best deal, as you will pay just $12 for an adult ticket online, vs. at the gate, and $4 for a child’s.

Tickets for “Media Day,” which kicks off the show on Friday, May 13, are $10 for adults and $5 for kids, and can only be purchased at Mt. Comfort.

Along with the Blue Angels, numerous military and civilian performers will be demonstrating their outstanding aerobatic feats in the sky. The list of those scheduled to perform includes: the Viper West F-16 Demonstration Team, Grayout Aerosports’ Billy Werth, Red Eagle Air Sports, the FM-2 “Wildcat,” and the 4FU “Corsair.” On the ground, air show-goers can check out the BT-13 Valiant, L-5 Sentinel, PT-26 Cornell, P-51D Mustang, the Civil Air Patrol, and the KC-135R Cockpit Mockup and Boom Simulator, just to name a few.

End of the drive

900 plus miles in the weekend. Got to see Dad and Mom and have a sandwich that dad made. It was good. Then on to Zack party. Google maps had the hotel in the wrong place, but we found it and then got out to the house. Good time with the family and got to see Z's new truck. It looks like it will be a good thing, but we'll see how well he treats it.
The ride home took 8 hours to do 5 hours. Cars in the ditch all along the way.
