Vacation 2005 The Chesapeake and Maryland

This is our friend's new house. It is close to the Navy Base, so f-18s are flying over all the time.

The ships were sailing the York River and Chesapeake Bay.

This view is spectacular from the backside of the property named Stratford (1000 acres), the birthplace of Robert E. Lee. Washington was born about 12 miles to the north of here.
Seagulls like the view from the tile roof of Point Lookout Lighthouse, the farthest you can go south on the main peninsula of Maryland.
